Eric Galluzzo started playing violin at the age of four. He studied with Tiberius Klausner in Kansas City; Jacqueline Ross in Birmingham, England; and John Glickman, concertmaster of the London Mozart Players, in London. Eric was the concertmaster of the largest Cambridge University symphony orchestra for most of his years studying there. Though he and his brother gave the first public performance of one of his compositions at the ages of ten and seven, respectively, Eric didn’t start receiving formal composition tutelage until he was sixteen. In 2022, he was a finalist in the Ryan Leach Composition Competition. He has been honored to have his chamber works performed by current and former principal members of the Boston Pops, the National Symphony Orchestra and the Columbus (OH) Symphony.
