Program Notes

This is intended to be a fun and light-hearted piece, challenging but not extremely difficult. It was written as a Christmas gift for my brother Paul’s piano trio. He specifically requested that anything I wrote for them should be in a more traditional, tonal style. Still, I did let my compositional personality show through in a couple of places, especially in the first and last movements.
